Today is the last day of the legendary New York Fashion Week. More than 80 designers present their new collection for Spring / Summer 2016, for the first time Downtown.
And my two favorite shows this year are definitely from the talented Oscar de la Renta and from the wonderful Vera Wang.
Oscar de la Renta
Several dresses, from cocktail dresses up to breathtaking gowns, are inspired by flowers with a spanisch influence. Showed a lot of black and red. They are dramatic with ladylike silhouettes and nether less extremely elegant. Here are some of my favorites
Vera Wang
"Desire – Duality – Decadence“ was the title of the new collection from Vera Wang. Mostly black and all with bangs, the designer showed us her rebellious vein. Elegance with seductive elements of nightlife: Crop Crops with silk shorts and transparent, high buttoned blouses. The whole was boosted by sequined and red dresses.
